As a widow, a former First Lady, a mother of two, and an inheritor of a cherished family farm, Delilah Benson wears many hats and carries many titles, including beloved matron of a people recently transplanted from one city to another. With her focus on ministering to those around her, raising her children, and learning how to adjust to rural life, she does not expect the colorful decisions of her youth to come knocking on her door. When the world that she has carefully created becomes threatened, Delilah finds herself making choices she thought sheโd never make again as she is forced to face the past behind her.

I’m pretty sure I know what the question is on everyone’ s mind who is reading this post: when is this book coming out? The short answer is sometime in July.
The long answer is that the book is technically finished. However, I got it into the hands of my beta readers a bit later than I would liked, so when I started getting…shall we say…interesting feedback, that left me with little wiggle room to consider whether (and how) I’m going to make changes.
This book…my beta readers started reaching out to me before they finished it. Everyone had an opinion, none of them were the same. I’m actually okay with that. My greatest fear as a writer is that one day, I will stop creating new things and fall into a rut where I’m churning out the same story over and over. I think it’s safe to say that this is not a story I’ve written before. It’s a bit out there. Prepare yourself accordingly.
At any rate, never fear, it shall be in your hands soon and you all can feel free to let me know what you think. But I will say this, when it’s published to Amazon, you will get the version of the novel that I absolutely love and stand behind. When all is said and done, I think (I hope) that you will, at the very least, be entertained. My beta readers might have had opinions, but they wasted no time in finishing this book.
Regarding the book itself, I said in a previous post that this book was a tribute to Westerns. That’s true, and not true. In an effort to avoid spoilers, I will reveal a bit more of my thought process in the Author’s Note of the novel. This book is best read going in with as little information as possible.
I appreciate you all. I do apologize for not releasing this book this month. I very much wanted to. But soon…

I canโt wait! Thanks for updating us.
